Narrative:
On 1/2 mi during landing phase at runway 1R at mci, we saw a flock of ducks, made evasive maneuver to the right and hit 1 duck. Assessed damage in air and could not see anything on wing or engine. Did not declare emergency. When we got to the gate the duck had hit a stabilizer on the left side. Minor damage. First officer was flying, did a good job.
