Narrative:

I was VFR from fyu to mci. A company pilot asked if we were on company frequency. When we responded yes, he asked if we were involved in a near miss by butler VOR. My copilot and I were not, that we know of. We did not see another aircraft. We never left 8500 or left our course to mci from fyu. When we checked in VFR to mci approach they asked us if we saw any aircraft about 45-50 mi south of mci. We replied no. The WX was clear as you can see by attached WX report. We did not see any other aircraft at 8500 ft, and our heading was 350 degrees.
