Narrative:
There were numerous radar beacon problems at charlotte approach control today. Aircraft data tags were dropping off the radar scopes, there were numerous data tags going into coast, and many data tags were jumping as far as 10 to 15 mi away from the aircraft's actual primary radar target. This is very distracting to the controllers and causes a serious safety problem during busy times.
