Narrative:

Descending to land at okc at 4000 ft. TCASII system gave us traffic information as well as ATC traffic information on target. We had no visual contact and complied with TCASII RA command to climb 500 ft. ATC gave us a 30 degree heading change about the same time as the RA. We informed ATC we were leaving 4000 ft with a TCASII RA command. We had visual contact with small cessna aircraft at our 4 O'clock position as he went by at 4000 ft MSL, opposite direction. We returned to 4000 ft when clear of traffic. TCASII system worked great.
