Narrative:
During preflight saw a crack in the spinner bulkhead and small tear in spinner skin. Decided to have mechanic look at after local flight. Spinner unraveled in-flight and fell to swamp area. Landed, had mechanic replace bulkhead (new). I replaced used spinner. I did not report to FAA. No injuries, no other problems.
