Narrative:
Landed runway 33 winds 240 at 7-8 KTS. Main gear touched down normally. When nose gear made contact with runway surface, aircraft veered sharply to left, almost 70 degrees from center. Could not return to center. Elected to head for the grass off runway. Caught runway lamp with wing flap which was still extended. Tore 2x4 inch hole in flapskin and dislodged runway lamp no passenger were injured. 1) could have requested runway 27. 2) should have released left rudder before nose wheel touched down.
