Narrative:
Air carrier Y called ewr 4 1/2 mi behind a H/DC10, air carrier X. 7110.65 says 5 mi, now why can't N90 do that. Tonight I saw at least 5 more aircraft that didn't get the required IFR wake turbulence separation. As I have written in the past, this problem is an everyday thing.
