Narrative:

On a flight to freeport bahamas island 'freeport international,' during the base to final turn we had an engine control warning followed by an oil warning. The captain called for feather #2. This was my first impression that the engine had failed as I felt no yaw. The #2 engine was feathered manually and it did feather. We confirmed that we were still cleared to land. We turned on the #2 electric hydraulic pump and shut down #2 engine. No fire was indicated. A normal single engine landing was accomplished. Maintenance found that it was a false indication of unknown origin. Oil filters and transducers were changed.
