Narrative:
Over pie at 33-000 autothrottle off and shortly thereafter flight attendant called cockpit and reported either sparks or smoke or both were present near #3 oven in aft galley. I immediately turned off the galley power and first officer reported #3 oven circuit breaker was popped. Sparks ceased and smoke dissipated slowly. First officer was sent to the galley to confirm situation. Concurrently, ATC descended us for our arrival in miami. First officer returned to his seat and a normal approach and landing were made at mia.

Title: FLC OF MLG TURNED OFF ELECTRICAL PWR TO AFT GALLEY OVEN AFTER CABIN ATTENDANT RPTED SPARKS AND SMOKE FROM IT.
Narrative: OVER PIE AT 33-000 AUTOTHROTTLE OFF AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER FLT ATTENDANT CALLED COCKPIT AND RPTED EITHER SPARKS OR SMOKE OR BOTH WERE PRESENT NEAR #3 OVEN IN AFT GALLEY. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED OFF THE GALLEY PWR AND FO RPTED #3 OVEN CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS POPPED. SPARKS CEASED AND SMOKE DISSIPATED SLOWLY. FO WAS SENT TO THE GALLEY TO CONFIRM SIT. CONCURRENTLY, ATC DSNDED US FOR OUR ARR IN MIAMI. FO RETURNED TO HIS SEAT AND A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG WERE MADE AT MIA.
