Narrative:

While proceeding eastbound from sjc to phx on J110 we encountered a thunderstorm. Joshua approach was unable to allow a right turn around the cell, so we deviated left and were handed off to ZLA. Approaching J92 we were unable to turn right on course due to the cell's location. The tonopah restr airspace was ahead so we declared an emergency and made a left 180 degree. In doing so we may have entered restr airspace. In our turn we were asked by ATC to squawk 7700, and did so until we were well clear of tonopah's airspace.
