Narrative:
Flight of one leg from msy to iah without crew member (flight attendants) manual. I was flying with 2 new hires as flight attendants, and we were running behind on our liquor count so when we arrived in msy from mco the ground crew were rushing us to get off the plane, so we did, and in the process I left my manual behind. I didn't realize what had happened until the next day when I was supposed to fly again. After checking my emergency equipment I reached for my manual. It was then that I realized that I did not have my manual. I told the captain and the first officer and they told me it was a no go item. So we all went back up to the gate and started calling the administration to try and get the plane off the ground. After speaking with crew scheduling I was transferred many times from one supervisor to another. Finally I was told by someone that I could fly as long as we had one manual on board, which we did. The captain/first officer got authorization for themselves through their own resources also upon arrival in iah, I was given my manual back.
