Narrative:
We were given taxi clearance after pushback at lax. Clearance was to proceed straight out via the out behind an light transport. Medium large transport flight Y exited off runway 25R at taxiway 45 without taxi clearance and still had all landing lights on, temporarily blinding our forward vision. I was glancing to the left to assure space with the commuter flight when my first officer exclaimed to stop. I did so as the medium large transport flight turned in front of us without talking to ground. My stop almost knocked our flight attendants off their feet and we narrowly missed hitting the medium large transport flight. Ground control was busy and little could be said over the radio.
