Narrative:
I was giving dual instruction to a student pilot. (Landing practice) we were executing touch and go lndgs on runway 36 at champaign and were given a landing clearance and a hold short of crossing runway clearance (runway 32 left) during the landing, the student abruptly entered a dangerous nose high attitude. I decided that attempting to salvage the landing might result in a tail strike or cause damage to the airplane as a result of stalling too high above the runway. I took over the controls and executed a go around procedure. There was a commuter airplane taking off on runway 32 left which crossed our path on its climb out towards the end of our runway. We were not closer than 1 mi to this other aircraft at any point, and I sidestepped to the left of our runway to remain clear of this traffic. The tower inquired as to why we did not comply with our hold short clearance and I explained the rough landing situation. No further communications addressed this issue.

Title: NON ADHERENCE TO ATC INSTRUCTION. POTENTIAL CONFLICT ENSUES.
Narrative: I WAS GIVING DUAL INSTRUCTION TO A STUDENT PLT. (LNDG PRACTICE) WE WERE EXECUTING TOUCH AND GO LNDGS ON RWY 36 AT CHAMPAIGN AND WERE GIVEN A LNDG CLRNC AND A HOLD SHORT OF XING RWY CLRNC (RWY 32 L) DURING THE LNDG, THE STUDENT ABRUPTLY ENTERED A DANGEROUS NOSE HIGH ATTITUDE. I DECIDED THAT ATTEMPTING TO SALVAGE THE LNDG MIGHT RESULT IN A TAIL STRIKE OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE AS A RESULT OF STALLING TOO HIGH ABOVE THE RWY. I TOOK OVER THE CTLS AND EXECUTED A GAR PROC. THERE WAS A COMMUTER AIRPLANE TAKING OFF ON RWY 32 L WHICH CROSSED OUR PATH ON ITS CLBOUT TOWARDS THE END OF OUR RWY. WE WERE NOT CLOSER THAN 1 MI TO THIS OTHER ACFT AT ANY POINT, AND I SIDESTEPPED TO THE L OF OUR RWY TO REMAIN CLR OF THIS TFC. THE TWR INQUIRED AS TO WHY WE DID NOT COMPLY WITH OUR HOLD SHORT CLRNC AND I EXPLAINED THE ROUGH LNDG SIT. NO FURTHER COMS ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE.
