Narrative:
BE02 on approach to runway 18 denver was almost hit by a B757 following TCASII resolution. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter is a controller in the den approach TRACON. In this incident, the B-757 responded to a TCASII RA and climbed into the BE02. The reporter does not know what caused the alert action for the B-757. The reporter does not know exactly how close the 2 aircraft came, but it was 'less than 2 mi, his personal minimum.' the reporter is not one of the biggest fans of TCASII. This incident happened so fast that the reporter had no time to warn either aircraft. No further evasive action was taken, no advisories given.
