Narrative:
Flying fra-jfk the right generator failed prior to entering oceanic airspace. Airspace. Aircraft diverted to cdg for repairs and an overweight landing was made at cdg. Maximum landing weight 270000 pounds, landed at 272300 pounds. This was considered to be the safest course of action.
