Narrative:

After clearing runway 7 I was told to taxi to parking via taxiway C, but to hold short of runway 12/30. I acknowledged this and started my taxi. My hold short point was approximately 2500 ft from my starting point. I was taxiing wbound into the sun. This condition hindered my view and caused me to cross runway 12/30. A commuter twin was on short final at the time. I was prepared to hold short as instructed, but because of the sun and my inattentiveness, I was focused on the taxiway on the far side of runway 12/30. The ground controller asked why I failed to heed his instructions. I explained about the sun and apologized. Nothing more was said. The problem would not have occurred had I made more of an effort because of the poor visibility conditions. Also, the ground controller could have noted the sun angle and long taxi and called just short of the hold line. The airport was not busy at the time.
