Narrative:
Cleared direct gayel intersection. Input into FMC direct gayel. FMC accepted direct gayel, then several mins later, dropped it out of flight plan and went direct to stomp. ATC asked heading, answer 345 degrees. Should have been 310 degrees. Turned 310 degrees, then cleared to intercept J95 gayel.
