Passing approximately FL300, under at control (ZID), in descent and on assigned heading 105 degrees, received TCASII advisory, 'traffic, traffic.' queried center about traffic climbing below us. We were directed, 'air carrier X immediate right turn to 180 degrees.' commencing turn, TCASII aural of 'monitor vertical speed,' continued turn to the south. TCASII aural 'clear of conflict.' continued flight to cvg with clearance and vectors., supplemental information from acn 296464: cvg arrival descended in the path of ord departure in the climb.
