Narrative:
I called pease tower and asked for permission for a right base to runway 34 for 2 touch and go's and informed him I had information lima. He gave me clearance to runway 34. I called right base to runway 34. He did not respond. I did a touch and go and made a left turn, I called downwind for runway 34 for a touch and go. He did not respond. I did a touch and go. I called for clearance to depart the pattern to the northeast. He asked me for a radio check, I responded loud and clear. He informed me that I had done 2 unauthorized touch and goes and that after I called right base for runway 34 my microphone button had stuck and he could not transmit or receive on that frequency. I apologized and reported clear of class D airspace. I returned to littlebrook airport and did a practice missed approach I called pease tower and asked permission to do another touch and go. He said he was unable to authority/authorized my request until I got my radio fixed. I forgot to mention that when pease tower had informed me that my microphone button had stuck, he asked me if I had seen a light sign in the tower. I told him that I hadn't. In retrospect, I know I should have gotten a response from my radio calls, but I didn't know I had a radio problem and they don't always respond to all calls. I was concentrating on my approach and lndgs so I didn't even look at the tower. It was day light so I wasn't looking for a light and I thought my radio was working. Incidently there was no other aircraft in the area.

I CALLED FOR CLRNC TO DEPART THE PATTERN TO THE NE. HE ASKED ME FOR A RADIO CHK, I RESPONDED LOUD AND CLEAR. HE INFORMED ME THAT I HAD DONE 2 UNAUTH TOUCH AND GOES AND THAT AFTER I CALLED R BASE FOR RWY 34 MY MIKE BUTTON HAD STUCK AND HE COULD NOT XMIT OR RECEIVE ON THAT FREQ. I APOLOGIZED AND RPTED CLR OF CLASS D AIRSPACE. I RETURNED TO LITTLEBROOK ARPT AND DID A PRACTICE MISSED APCH I CALLED PEASE TWR AND ASKED PERMISSION TO DO ANOTHER TOUCH AND GO. HE SAID HE WAS UNABLE TO AUTH MY REQUEST UNTIL I GOT MY RADIO FIXED. I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT WHEN PEASE TWR HAD INFORMED ME THAT MY MIKE BUTTON HAD STUCK, HE ASKED ME IF I HAD SEEN A LIGHT SIGN IN THE TWR. I TOLD HIM THAT I HADN'T. IN RETROSPECT, I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A RESPONSE FROM MY RADIO CALLS, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW I HAD A RADIO PROB AND THEY DON'T ALWAYS RESPOND TO ALL CALLS. I WAS CONCENTRATING ON MY APCH AND LNDGS SO I DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE TWR. IT WAS DAY LIGHT SO I WASN'T LOOKING FOR A LIGHT AND I THOUGHT MY RADIO WAS WORKING. INCIDENTLY THERE WAS NO OTHER ACFT IN THE AREA.
