Narrative:
I had clearance to FL190 and a clearance to kennedy jfk airport via the camrin arrival. During the descent the aircraft began 'porpoising' quite badly so I disconnected the autoplt and autothrottles. After stabilizing the aircraft and leveling off at FL190 I realized that we had gone approximately 15 mi past sea isle VOR on a heading of approximately 230 degrees instead of the 249 degree radial as depicted on the camrin arrival chart. Center gave us a turn to intercept the 249 degree radial.
