Narrative:

I was requested by my customer to land the bell 206L-1 which I was piloting in a baseball park in guaynobo, pr. I conferred with my passenger as to proper permission and security for the landing site and they assured me they had permission from the local authority/authorized. I then circled the landing site for a reconnaissance at 500 ft AGL. I then entered a downwind for my approach - base final. My final was over a clear area and I landed at the perimeter of the park with the tail rotor outside of the perimeter. To the best of my knowledge and recollection I was at a safe distance from any object, obstruction and people. After my passenger exited the helicopter I left the site without any incident and returned to base with no damage to any person or property in the area. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that observers on the ground complained about the activity and landing. It appears there were political ramifications as the local authority/authorized was aboard and other political factions objected to the attention he created with his arrival. Rptrs of local media became involved and then the FAA. Reporter has been sent a warning letter regarding his operations by the FAA and the matter is closed.

Title: CHARTER HELI LANDS TO DEBOARD PAX IN BASEBALL PARK.

Narrative: I WAS REQUESTED BY MY CUSTOMER TO LAND THE BELL 206L-1 WHICH I WAS PILOTING IN A BASEBALL PARK IN GUAYNOBO, PR. I CONFERRED WITH MY PAX AS TO PROPER PERMISSION AND SECURITY FOR THE LNDG SITE AND THEY ASSURED ME THEY HAD PERMISSION FROM THE LCL AUTH. I THEN CIRCLED THE LNDG SITE FOR A RECONNAISSANCE AT 500 FT AGL. I THEN ENTERED A DOWNWIND FOR MY APCH - BASE FINAL. MY FINAL WAS OVER A CLR AREA AND I LANDED AT THE PERIMETER OF THE PARK WITH THE TAIL ROTOR OUTSIDE OF THE PERIMETER. TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND RECOLLECTION I WAS AT A SAFE DISTANCE FROM ANY OBJECT, OBSTRUCTION AND PEOPLE. AFTER MY PAX EXITED THE HELI I LEFT THE SITE WITHOUT ANY INCIDENT AND RETURNED TO BASE WITH NO DAMAGE TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY IN THE AREA. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THAT OBSERVERS ON THE GND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ACTIVITY AND LNDG. IT APPEARS THERE WERE POLITICAL RAMIFICATIONS AS THE LCL AUTH WAS ABOARD AND OTHER POLITICAL FACTIONS OBJECTED TO THE ATTN HE CREATED WITH HIS ARR. RPTRS OF LCL MEDIA BECAME INVOLVED AND THEN THE FAA. RPTR HAS BEEN SENT A WARNING LETTER REGARDING HIS OPS BY THE FAA AND THE MATTER IS CLOSED.
