Narrative:
On descent into lga altimeter given by approach was 29.84 lga altimeter was 29.43. We leveled at 11000 ft with 29.84 and then corrected altimeter to 29.43 and climbed back up to 11000 ft. ATC did not make any comments about our altitude.

Narrative: ON DSCNT INTO LGA ALTIMETER GIVEN BY APCH WAS 29.84 LGA ALTIMETER WAS 29.43. WE LEVELED AT 11000 FT WITH 29.84 AND THEN CORRECTED ALTIMETER TO 29.43 AND CLBED BACK UP TO 11000 FT. ATC DID NOT MAKE ANY COMMENTS ABOUT OUR ALT.
