Narrative:
After encountering moderate and occasionally severe turbulence at FL270, we descended to FL250. Shortly thereafter, we were told to come left to a 070 degree heading. During the turbulence, our autoplt had been knocked off of omega to manual. The resulting lack of course following put us in conflict with another aircraft and off course. Supplemental information from acn 301354: the omega switch disengaged causing us to overshoot new course. Reengaging omega caused us to correct back to course and aircraft behind came within 10 NM.
