Narrative:
Tail strike. Aircraft gross weight 269100 pounds deck angle 7.5 at touchdown, touchdown normal. When autospoilers deployed at touchdown, I heard a thump and saw EICAS message tailstrike. Upon arrival at gate, notified maintenance and made logbook entry to reflect problem. Debriefed problem with check airman who reported same to captain, dfw chief pilot.

Narrative: TAIL STRIKE. ACFT GROSS WT 269100 LBS DECK ANGLE 7.5 AT TOUCHDOWN, TOUCHDOWN NORMAL. WHEN AUTOSPOILERS DEPLOYED AT TOUCHDOWN, I HEARD A THUMP AND SAW EICAS MESSAGE TAILSTRIKE.
