Narrative:
The flight crew of an inbound 737-200 verbally reported holding 10 degrees right aileron to maintain level flight. The maintenance crew found nothing unusual with any flight controls. The aircraft continued as scheduled on 3 more legs before returning to the line station where the irregularity was first reported. Upon arrival, the maintenance crew was informed the condition still existed. During inspection, the right inboard aft flap segment was found to be declutched. Several attempts to reclutch the flap segment failed. The flight crew was informed of the maintenance crew's findings. No log entries were made and no action was taken, until the aircraft returned to the maintenance base.
