Narrative:
It was our first scheduled flight of the day, mar/fri/95. Our aircraft, a fokker F-28-mk 1000, had several (5 or 6) items deferred as per the MEL, and air carrier maintenance control. It also had 1 item missing as per the confign deviation list. The captain and I went over these items in our MEL and confign deviation list. We noted our special operational instructions/limitations as indicated in said lists. We flew the aircraft on our scheduled revenue flight from geg to sea for our 3 remaining revenue flts of the day. Unfortunately, because of limitations contained in the MEL/cdl procedures, the aircraft should not have been flown. This was an oversight on our part. No incidents occurred during the day relating to our MEL/cdl items. On that first leg (geg-sea), we had an FAA maintenance/flight inspector in our jumpseat overseeing us. He also failed to notice the discrepancy. To have prevented this oversight, we, should have scrutinized the MEL/cdl better.

Title: MEL. CDL. ACFT IN UNAIRWORTHY CONDITION.
Narrative: IT WAS OUR FIRST SCHEDULED FLT OF THE DAY, MAR/FRI/95. OUR ACFT, A FOKKER F-28-MK 1000, HAD SEVERAL (5 OR 6) ITEMS DEFERRED AS PER THE MEL, AND ACR MAINT CTL. IT ALSO HAD 1 ITEM MISSING AS PER THE CONFIGN DEV LIST. THE CAPT AND I WENT OVER THESE ITEMS IN OUR MEL AND CONFIGN DEV LIST. WE NOTED OUR SPECIAL OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS/LIMITATIONS AS INDICATED IN SAID LISTS. WE FLEW THE ACFT ON OUR SCHEDULED REVENUE FLT FROM GEG TO SEA FOR OUR 3 REMAINING REVENUE FLTS OF THE DAY. UNFORTUNATELY, BECAUSE OF LIMITATIONS CONTAINED IN THE MEL/CDL PROCS, THE ACFT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FLOWN. THIS WAS AN OVERSIGHT ON OUR PART. NO INCIDENTS OCCURRED DURING THE DAY RELATING TO OUR MEL/CDL ITEMS. ON THAT FIRST LEG (GEG-SEA), WE HAD AN FAA MAINT/FLT INSPECTOR IN OUR JUMPSEAT OVERSEEING US. HE ALSO FAILED TO NOTICE THE DISCREPANCY. TO HAVE PREVENTED THIS OVERSIGHT, WE, SHOULD HAVE SCRUTINIZED THE MEL/CDL BETTER.
