Air carrier X climbing eastbound from pdx. Cpr Y wbound direct pdx at FL240. Air carrier X was issued a left turn to heading 050 degrees. Air carrier X was climbed to FL330. When it was evident that separation may be lost the lifeguard was turned 15 degrees left for traffic and descended to FL190. Separation was lost. The closest proximity was 800 ft and 4 mi. Supplemental information from acn 302974: cpr Y, a C500, was level FL240 and direct portland. Air carrier X, an MD80, was climbing to FL230 and direct pendleton. Received control of X from previous sector and turned left to heading of 050 degrees. When turn was observed, X was climbed to FL330. Turned Y 15 degrees left for traffic. Received lower from next controller on Y and descended to FL190.
