Narrative:
On touchdown at narita, we experienced abnormal deceleration and pulling to the right although runway centerline was maintained with normal control inputs. During rollout 'anti-skid hydraulic' light and 'body gear not centered' light came on. Aircraft rolled to a stop just off the runway without the use of brakes. When facility and maintenance personnel checked the area, no fire or smoke was reported but 8 tires were blown -- all the right main and body gear tires. We had an unusually difficult time getting started on our pushback in hnl and the aircraft took an unusually high thrust setting to taxi out. We discussed the fact that we may have a hot brake problem in narita, so the plan was to keep braking to a minimum. As it turned out, the tires blew on touchdown. It's very difficult to know when these brakes are overheated (this model 747-100 has no brake temperature gauge).

Title: BLOWN TIRES ON LNDG.
Narrative: ON TOUCHDOWN AT NARITA, WE EXPERIENCED ABNORMAL DECELERATION AND PULLING TO THE R ALTHOUGH RWY CTRLINE WAS MAINTAINED WITH NORMAL CTL INPUTS. DURING ROLLOUT 'ANTI-SKID HYD' LIGHT AND 'BODY GEAR NOT CTRED' LIGHT CAME ON. ACFT ROLLED TO A STOP JUST OFF THE RWY WITHOUT THE USE OF BRAKES. WHEN FACILITY AND MAINT PERSONNEL CHKED THE AREA, NO FIRE OR SMOKE WAS RPTED BUT 8 TIRES WERE BLOWN -- ALL THE R MAIN AND BODY GEAR TIRES. WE HAD AN UNUSUALLY DIFFICULT TIME GETTING STARTED ON OUR PUSHBACK IN HNL AND THE ACFT TOOK AN UNUSUALLY HIGH THRUST SETTING TO TAXI OUT. WE DISCUSSED THE FACT THAT WE MAY HAVE A HOT BRAKE PROB IN NARITA, SO THE PLAN WAS TO KEEP BRAKING TO A MINIMUM. AS IT TURNED OUT, THE TIRES BLEW ON TOUCHDOWN. IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHEN THESE BRAKES ARE OVERHEATED (THIS MODEL 747-100 HAS NO BRAKE TEMP GAUGE).
