Narrative:
Departing wal runway 22 with a S76 doing some sort of testing in the traffic pattern runway 4. We received an IFR to depart wal runway 22 just as the S76 was turning a left downwind turn off runway 4, so he was to the west of the runway. We received takeoff clearance direct pxt, which is also off to the northwest. We departed runway 22 and turned as cleared when we saw the S76 at what looked like about 2000 ft. We leveled off at 1200 ft till clear. There was no need for evasive maneuvering, but it would have been better if we had either been warned of the S76 or given a left hand turn direct pxt.
