Narrative:
In inappropriately filed brookings as a legal destination. Our flaps were inoperative and MEL'ed which lengthened our landing distance. As per 135.393(a)(1), our landing distance exceeded 60 percent of the runway available. A better thought process of considering all ramifications of an inoperative component on the airplane would greatly reduce the chance of this occurring again.
