Narrative:
Aircraft was cleared to cross somto intersection at 13000 ft. This information was loaded into the FMS and a VNAV descent was initiated. Subsequently a descent to 11000 ft was received and loaded into the FMS while VNAV descent was continued. The FMS failed to make the 13000 ft restr at somto intersection and was not noted by the captain until questioned by ZNY. Somto intersection was crossed at 15300 ft and ard at 11000 ft. Once clearance to 11000 ft was received, I perceived that the 13000 ft restr was lifted. This was not so! Human error prevailed.

Narrative: ACFT WAS CLRED TO CROSS SOMTO INTXN AT 13000 FT. THIS INFO WAS LOADED INTO THE FMS AND A VNAV DSCNT WAS INITIATED. SUBSEQUENTLY A DSCNT TO 11000 FT WAS RECEIVED AND LOADED INTO THE FMS WHILE VNAV DSCNT WAS CONTINUED. THE FMS FAILED TO MAKE THE 13000 FT RESTR AT SOMTO INTXN AND WAS NOT NOTED BY THE CAPT UNTIL QUESTIONED BY ZNY. SOMTO INTXN WAS CROSSED AT 15300 FT AND ARD AT 11000 FT. ONCE CLRNC TO 11000 FT WAS RECEIVED, I PERCEIVED THAT THE 13000 FT RESTR WAS LIFTED. THIS WAS NOT SO! HUMAN ERROR PREVAILED.
