Narrative:
Read back full route clearance before taxi. Cleared to taxi to runway 1. Stopped at hold short line for runway 1 but was confused by runway 14-32 sign along side of runway. I cleared the approach end and taxied across what I thought was runway 14-32. I noticed my error and ground control called me half way across. I believe I was preoccupied trying to figure out the full route clearance. Should have called ground control before crossing and should have checked aircraft heading against directional gyroscope and airport diagram more closely. There was no traffic hazard at any time but this was an unacceptable mistake. I will check signage next time I am at this airport to see if it could be improved but the mistake was really mine.

Title: RWY EXCURSION DURING TAXI.
Narrative: READ BACK FULL RTE CLRNC BEFORE TAXI. CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 1. STOPPED AT HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 1 BUT WAS CONFUSED BY RWY 14-32 SIGN ALONG SIDE OF RWY. I CLRED THE APCH END AND TAXIED ACROSS WHAT I THOUGHT WAS RWY 14-32. I NOTICED MY ERROR AND GND CTL CALLED ME HALF WAY ACROSS. I BELIEVE I WAS PREOCCUPIED TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE FULL RTE CLRNC. SHOULD HAVE CALLED GND CTL BEFORE XING AND SHOULD HAVE CHKED ACFT HDG AGAINST DIRECTIONAL GYROSCOPE AND ARPT DIAGRAM MORE CLOSELY. THERE WAS NO TFC HAZARD AT ANY TIME BUT THIS WAS AN UNACCEPTABLE MISTAKE. I WILL CHK SIGNAGE NEXT TIME I AM AT THIS ARPT TO SEE IF IT COULD BE IMPROVED BUT THE MISTAKE WAS REALLY MINE.
