Narrative:
Vectoring clear of rain shower. Visibility was very restr by haze. We entered the edge of a cloud that was not indicated on radar. The seat belt sign was on for turbulence. The flight had been smooth. There was turbulence 5 mins after the seat belt sign was turned on with PA. The injuries were: passenger that did not have seat belt on. 2 flight attendants that were moving a trash cart for storage. 1 flight attendant standing in the galley. Corrective action: there should be more thought given to the use of the seat belt sign. This could help to regain the respect for the seat belt sign.
