Narrative:

I departed stp VFR eastbound. I frequently fly into and out of stp, but usually I file IFR. On climb out my passenger was complaining about ear pain from the last descent from altitude and we had a lengthy discussion about it. I then realized that I was clear of the class B airspace, 23 NM east and at an altitude level at 5500 ft. At that altitude and distance from msp I quite probably had climbed through the class B airspace without permission. I was on my 4TH leg flying that day, and I had forgotten that the climb out out of stp would not be like the others. My concern with my passenger's discomfort also diverted my attention.

Title: UNAUTH PENETRATION OF CLASS B AIRSPACE.

Narrative: I DEPARTED STP VFR EBOUND. I FREQUENTLY FLY INTO AND OUT OF STP, BUT USUALLY I FILE IFR. ON CLBOUT MY PAX WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT EAR PAIN FROM THE LAST DSCNT FROM ALT AND WE HAD A LENGTHY DISCUSSION ABOUT IT. I THEN REALIZED THAT I WAS CLR OF THE CLASS B AIRSPACE, 23 NM E AND AT AN ALT LEVEL AT 5500 FT. AT THAT ALT AND DISTANCE FROM MSP I QUITE PROBABLY HAD CLBED THROUGH THE CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT PERMISSION. I WAS ON MY 4TH LEG FLYING THAT DAY, AND I HAD FORGOTTEN THAT THE CLBOUT OUT OF STP WOULD NOT BE LIKE THE OTHERS. MY CONCERN WITH MY PAX'S DISCOMFORT ALSO DIVERTED MY ATTN.
