Narrative:
Our company has standard policies and procedures for deicing aircraft. When company personnel are not on premises, trained contract personnel are delegated to carry out these procedures. The personnel who were delegated by our company were not properly trained or did not follow deicing procedures. Crews should be extra careful when contract personnel are assigned to do anything to their aircraft, especially something as critical as deicing. Do not assume it has been done properly!
