Narrative:
Air carrier flight from dfw to sfo was cleared for quiet bridge visual to runway 28R. Regional carrier challenger cleared visual to runway 28L. Both aircraft reported other in sight, with air carrier flight ahead and to right of challenger. The challenger closed up to seemingly wingtip formation position to conduct a simultaneous landing on runway 28L. Air carrier flight issued TCASII warning and description avoidance directions from 700 ft AGL to 200 ft AGL. Very annoying! Challenger just deliberately approached too close.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: RPTR'S MAJOR CARRIER ACFT AND A REGIONAL CARRIER CHALLENGER WERE ON A VISUAL APCH FOR PARALLEL RWYS. THE RPTR'S ACFT RECEIVED TCASII WARNING AND COMMANDS DURING DSCNT.
Narrative: ACR FLT FROM DFW TO SFO WAS CLRED FOR QUIET BRIDGE VISUAL TO RWY 28R. REGIONAL CARRIER CHALLENGER CLRED VISUAL TO RWY 28L. BOTH ACFT RPTED OTHER IN SIGHT, WITH ACR FLT AHEAD AND TO R OF CHALLENGER. THE CHALLENGER CLOSED UP TO SEEMINGLY WINGTIP FORMATION POS TO CONDUCT A SIMULTANEOUS LNDG ON RWY 28L. ACR FLT ISSUED TCASII WARNING AND DESCRIPTION AVOIDANCE DIRECTIONS FROM 700 FT AGL TO 200 FT AGL. VERY ANNOYING! CHALLENGER JUST DELIBERATELY APCHED TOO CLOSE.
