Narrative:
I was PIC of C172RG, #1 on downwind for touch and go runway 31. I received an instruction from tower to 'turn base now, for landing traffic, cleared touch and go runway 31.' I turned base for a short approach and saw a C152 (#2) over the numbers of runway 31. Separation of the 2 aircraft was approximately 1000 ft. The C152 touched down and rolled down the runway. I decided I should go around and was about to add power when the C152 broke ground again. I decided to land and make a full stop. I called tower and told the controller I would make this landing a full stop. After I cleared runway 31 the controller asked me what the problem was. I told her I felt the 2 aircraft were too close for comfort and I'd like to taxi back for another takeoff.

Title: PLT OF A CESSNA 172RG ELECTED TO MAKE A FULL STOP LNDG AFTER THE TOUCH AND GO CESSNA 152 AHEAD SEEMED TOO CLOSE FOR SAFE TFC SPACING!
Narrative: I WAS PIC OF C172RG, #1 ON DOWNWIND FOR TOUCH AND GO RWY 31. I RECEIVED AN INSTRUCTION FROM TWR TO 'TURN BASE NOW, FOR LNDG TFC, CLRED TOUCH AND GO RWY 31.' I TURNED BASE FOR A SHORT APCH AND SAW A C152 (#2) OVER THE NUMBERS OF RWY 31. SEPARATION OF THE 2 ACFT WAS APPROX 1000 FT. THE C152 TOUCHED DOWN AND ROLLED DOWN THE RWY. I DECIDED I SHOULD GAR AND WAS ABOUT TO ADD PWR WHEN THE C152 BROKE GND AGAIN. I DECIDED TO LAND AND MAKE A FULL STOP. I CALLED TWR AND TOLD THE CTLR I WOULD MAKE THIS LNDG A FULL STOP. AFTER I CLRED RWY 31 THE CTLR ASKED ME WHAT THE PROB WAS. I TOLD HER I FELT THE 2 ACFT WERE TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT AND I'D LIKE TO TAXI BACK FOR ANOTHER TKOF.
