Narrative:
In cruise, oil pressure on right engine started to fail. Watched gauge while still in the green. Everything else appeared normal, reduced power on that engine. Finally, oil pressure fell just below green. Shut down and feathered right engine, secured and read checklist. Advised ny approach of engine shutdown. Made single engine landing and requested 'tug' to FBO. No damage and airport remained operational. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated he was flying a beechcraft duke BE60. He stated there was no supporting evidence to the low oil pressure indication until he feathered the engine. Then oil flew all over the place. The reporter stated the airport he landed at was frg.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: PLT NOTICES AN ABNORMALLY LOW OIL PRESSURE. THE OIL TEMP REMAINED NORMAL AND THERE WERE NO OTHER ABNORMAL INDICATIONS. WHEN THE PRESSURE DROPPED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE GREEN, THE PLT SHUT THE ENG DOWN AND LANDED AT THE CLOSEST ARPT.

FINALLY, OIL PRESSURE FELL JUST BELOW GREEN. SHUT DOWN AND FEATHERED R ENG, SECURED AND READ CHKLIST. ADVISED NY APCH OF ENG SHUTDOWN. MADE SINGLE ENG LNDG AND REQUESTED 'TUG' TO FBO. NO DAMAGE AND ARPT REMAINED OPERATIONAL. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED HE WAS FLYING A BEECHCRAFT DUKE BE60. HE STATED THERE WAS NO SUPPORTING EVIDENCE TO THE LOW OIL PRESSURE INDICATION UNTIL HE FEATHERED THE ENG. THEN OIL FLEW ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE RPTR STATED THE ARPT HE LANDED AT WAS FRG.
