Narrative:
Took off with altimeter setting of 998 millibars. Translation altitude is 6000 ft. On climb out, engine instruments flashed off and on tripping the autothrottles. After reset we approached 10000 ft when I noticed that altimeters were not reset. Reset to 1013 millibars at 10300 ft approximately and descended to FL100. Traffic crossing at FL110, never saw him. Controller filed a deviation report.
