Narrative:
Communication confusing between approach control (socal) and crew on our proper assigned runway ILS approach. Crew heard vectors for ILS runway 25L lax, tower advised on final the approach was for runway 24R ILS lax. I decided best course of action was a missed approach and vectors back around for another approach.
