Narrative:

Was told by tower to extend downwind for traffic and they would call my base. Tower cleared me to turn base. As I rolled out on base an F15 was also cleared base on UHF frequency. Both aircraft had to maneuver to avoid collision. More space should be allotted for pattern work between aircraft.
