Narrative:

Just south of barow intersection, ZHU advised we were in radar contact and that we were 36 mi west off course. At that time the omega was in direct route status. Winds at FL310 were 260 degrees at 100 KTS so I assume the omega overcompensated for the drift. At the time galveston NDB bearing was within acceptable bearing limits as it was oscillating and not steady on the station. Houston cleared us direct to croki intersection as is their normal action when we come into radar contact either north or south of barow intersection. Houston did not indicate there was any problem or conflict. In their words it was quote just for our information end quote.
