Narrative:

We were late, rain/snow starting. Deiced aircraft. Many distrs. Pre departure clearance airport. It seems everyone knew we had an ATC IFR clearance but us. Inadvertently, we did not get a pre departure clearance or radio clearance and received no challenges through takeoff. My first clue was switching to departure and realizing no frequency was put in our radio and transponder code was previous leg's code. Departure control verified our squawk, and we were on our way with no further incident. With pre departure clearance, FMS, etc, even a bumpkin can fly in the system!
