Narrative:

The copilot received the clearance before startup and wrote it down and gave a readback. The clearance was 'right.H. A/south filed 160 35-10' which is runway heading cleared as filed climb to 16000 ft expect 35000 ft in 10 mins. There was not a correction by the controller. Leaving 2500 ft we were informed that we were supposed to stop at 1600 ft. We did exactly what the clearance was, and I believe it was a miscom.
