Narrative:

2 near misses in pattern due to my going wrong way and starting to set up for runway 33 which is the calm wind runway, but traffic was using runway 15. Radio interference was very strong due to first nice day of spring, everyone was out flying. 123.0 MHZ I missed pilot advisories or they just didn't register. Discovered the problem when I encountered the 'wrong' direction traffic flow. I immediately left the pattern to the west did a 180 degree turn and entered the pattern with the other aircraft going in the same direction, landing uneventful. (Me) pilot needs to stop assuming and pay more attention. Restructure VHF aircraft radio's frequencys so that tri-county (48V), front range (ftg), fort collins downtown (3v5) are not on the same channel.
