Narrative:

After takeoff power was applied, all engines spooled up properly, then suddenly #1 engine failed due to failure of the engine driven fuel pump. The captain aborted takeoff on runway 13 at lga. The abort occurred at less than 40 KTS. There were no control problems and no need for emergency equipment. The aircraft cleared the runway without incident.

Title: AFTER TKOF PWR WAS APPLIED ALL ENGS SPOOLED UP PROPERLY. THEN, SUDDENLY #1 ENG FAILED DUE TO FAILURE OF THE ENG DRIVEN FUEL PUMP. THE CAPT ABORTED TKOF ON RWY 13 AT LGA.
