Narrative:

On ATC frequency 132.97 cleared to fly 210 degree heading to intercept hmv 156 degree radial, fly shine 5 arrival. Switched to frequency 132.65 ZTL, who queried us on our clearance. He immediately issued us turn to 270 degrees and descent to 17000 ft. On further discussion center explained he understood our clearance on handoff from previous controller was 210 degrees to intercept clt 314 degree radial shine arrival. No apparent traffic conflict, but obvious miscom between controllers.
