Narrative:
Unable to contact unicom. Entered on left base to runway 9. Upon turning final saw a seneca on the runway. Executed a go around. Reentered downwind and landed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the airport at which this incident occurred was linden, nj. It is an uncontrolled airport and has a relatively low traffic pattern wherein it is hard to see the traffic on the runway until turning on final.

Title: NMAC BTWN AN SEL SMA ON FINAL AND A PIPER SENECA ON THE RWY. THE RPTR MADE A GAR AND REENTERED THE UNCTLED TFC PATTERN.
Narrative: UNABLE TO CONTACT UNICOM. ENTERED ON L BASE TO RWY 9. UPON TURNING FINAL SAW A SENECA ON THE RWY. EXECUTED A GAR. REENTERED DOWNWIND AND LANDED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE ARPT AT WHICH THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED WAS LINDEN, NJ. IT IS AN UNCTLED ARPT AND HAS A RELATIVELY LOW TFC PATTERN WHEREIN IT IS HARD TO SEE THE TFC ON THE RWY UNTIL TURNING ON FINAL.
