Narrative:

Landed at eyw without landing clearance. Tower requested a call at 2 NM from touchdown, approximately 600 ft in the air. Copilot was flying aircraft and was not very stable on the approach. Captain was working radios and was distracted at the 2 mi point. Conclusion: 1) 2 NM is late for landing clearance. (Approximately 600 ft AGL.) 2) tower had made visual and radio contact at 10 NM. 3) there was traffic within 12 NM. 4) copilot was flying a very unstable approach and I was distracted.
