Narrative:
Our flight was cleared for takeoff at iso with an amended altitude of 10000 ft vice 3000 ft. Our on course clearance was unchanged from our pre-taxi clearance. While starting our left turn on course, my copilot and I discussed whether we were cleared on course or cleared to maintain runway heading. We both agreed on a left turn on course. Iso tower handed us off to gsb departure control. Climbing out of 1700 ft MSL, we contacted gsb and were told to maintain 2000 ft for conflicting traffic at 3000 ft. Gsb asked if we were cleared on course by iso tower. We responded that we had, which was refuted by iso tower in a follow-up call by gsb. My copilot and I were now unsure of our departure clearance issued by iso tower. Our flight continued to clt without further incident. In retrospect, we should have confirmed our clearance with iso tower. The major factor in this uncertainty was having clrncs issued gratuitously while running consecutive checklists during our short taxi. The actual clearance given to us is still unknown to my copilot or me.

Title: AN ACR LTT FAILED TO MONITOR SEVERAL CHANGES IN AIRWAYS CLRNC WHILE TAXIING AND CONSEQUENTLY FAILED TO FOLLOW THE LAST ONE GIVEN. TRACK DEV.
Narrative: OUR FLT WAS CLRED FOR TKOF AT ISO WITH AN AMENDED ALT OF 10000 FT VICE 3000 FT. OUR ON COURSE CLRNC WAS UNCHANGED FROM OUR PRE-TAXI CLRNC. WHILE STARTING OUR L TURN ON COURSE, MY COPLT AND I DISCUSSED WHETHER WE WERE CLRED ON COURSE OR CLRED TO MAINTAIN RWY HDG. WE BOTH AGREED ON A L TURN ON COURSE. ISO TWR HANDED US OFF TO GSB DEP CTL. CLBING OUT OF 1700 FT MSL, WE CONTACTED GSB AND WERE TOLD TO MAINTAIN 2000 FT FOR CONFLICTING TFC AT 3000 FT. GSB ASKED IF WE WERE CLRED ON COURSE BY ISO TWR. WE RESPONDED THAT WE HAD, WHICH WAS REFUTED BY ISO TWR IN A FOLLOW-UP CALL BY GSB. MY COPLT AND I WERE NOW UNSURE OF OUR DEP CLRNC ISSUED BY ISO TWR. OUR FLT CONTINUED TO CLT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. IN RETROSPECT, WE SHOULD HAVE CONFIRMED OUR CLRNC WITH ISO TWR. THE MAJOR FACTOR IN THIS UNCERTAINTY WAS HAVING CLRNCS ISSUED GRATUITOUSLY WHILE RUNNING CONSECUTIVE CHKLISTS DURING OUR SHORT TAXI. THE ACTUAL CLRNC GIVEN TO US IS STILL UNKNOWN TO MY COPLT OR ME.
